In 2017 I was a finalist in the Wisconsin State Fair Fairtastic Poster Art competition. The theme was “Cultivating 125 Years of History”.

SKETCH
This is the concept sketch I entered. Three entrants were selected by a panel of judges to continue in the competition.

TIGHTENED DESIGN
The next step was to present the concept to the panel and receive their critique. They asked me to add red, tighten the lettering edges and leave the center ribbon open.

My work was displayed at the fair along with the other finalists. It was quite the experience!
